Customer's No: x3398 X4414 It was then emptied, and refilled with new acid, and put on charge at 3 amps for 40 hours. After about 20 hours however, the battery began to get warm, while the densities remained at 1200. There was little or no gassing of the plates. It is unable to retain a charge; completely discharging itself over a week-end. C.A.V. Willard 12XR2-2 This battery was put into service 12.11.21, and after passing through the experimental tests, was put on 3 Gos. II, travelling 7,252 miles on that car between 11.1.22. and 24.6.22. On the 6.7.22 it was sent day to France to replace a battery on 7. Gos.
