RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} c. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 646 BY.8/G.15.3.38. Wets WRAITH 111. REAR STABILISER - ROLL ROD. In connection with the comparison of the roll rod with serrated ends, and the one with square ends, we would point out that the matter was taken up with the Works in December of last year. The reply to our query has arrived too late to enable us to bring the square ended rod on to production, as there is no time to carry out any road tests. The rod with serrated ends is running without complaint, on the 15,000 miles test car, in France. It is doubtful whether the roll rod is to continue at the rear of the chassis, so that the detailing of the rod with a square end to F.CD.260 was not proceeded with. BY.{R.W.
