Hallam - Head Repairs} Wd {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} 3/WJ20.6.24 Hartford Shock Absorbers. Upon receipt of By {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /Cll/Hl4.6.24, I wrote T.B.Andre & Co.Ltd., London, communicating to them our complaints regarding Hartford shock absorbers and sent them the samples handed to me. Herewith I send you copy of letter from T.B.Andre & Co. dated 18th inst. (to hand this morning) You will note these people are making up a sample shock absorber incorporating the improved pin with hexagon, instead of the key, and will send same to us when ready. You will note what these people have to say about the spring plates and I shall be glad to have your decision as to which type is to be supplied in future. You will note Andre & Co. offer to come here to discuss these matters with us if we think it desirable. Please let me know your wishes. Ltr.att. Wd. {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} | ||
