To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from BJ.

BJ5/H13.4.26.

14-Tooth Axle on
New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I.

In order to prevent any possibility of a misunderstanding, I should be obliged if you could let us know definitely whether you agree

(a) to all Phantoms sent to America in future being fitted with 14-tooth back axles;

(b) whether you agree to the 14-tooth axles being used on Phantom cars for English and European customers, where the customers specially require it, or where the body is particularly heavy.
