STANDARDISATION SHEETS.

G-9
21/1/27

We attach herewith the undermentioned sheets -

PHANTOM - WHEEL AT REAR - & LUGGAGE GRID.

R.{Sir Henry Royce} remarks - "This seems a definite improvement "in many ways, and should be pressed for so "that repute of Phantom can increase."

DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} remarks - "Subject to success in 10,000 mile test.

PHANTOM - FLEXIBILITY IN SERVO SHAFT.

R.{Sir Henry Royce} remarks - "Definitely good on 7-EX, the car I "have in France, which was defective last year. "Should be applied to all back numbers of four "wheel brakes. Costs very little considering "its value".

20HP. CHASSIS - SIDE STEERING TUBE ENDS.

R.{Sir Henry Royce} remarks - "You will remember that I first thought "broken long tube due to high rating springs "and insufficient clearance, but I now think it "is probably due to heavy use of steering while "standing or shunting at very slow speed, other- "wise 10,000 miles rough high speed test would "have shewn it."

20HP. CHASSIS - SIDE STEERING TUBE ENDS.

R.{Sir Henry Royce} remarks -"See notes on previous sheets."

DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} remarks - "Subject to test being satisfactory".

20HP. - CHASSIS. IMPROVED METHOD OF HOLDING BATTERY BOX.

No remarks.

RS.{Sir Henry Royce's Secretary}
