The difference between a specific consumption of .5 and .47
pts/HP/Hr. makes a difference of only 2 1/4 galls. over the total
of the full throttle stage.

For full throttle running the water temperature
should be maintained at 70°C and oil at 70°C. [strikethrough]
When the throttled stages are reached the water temperature
should be increased to 90°C and the oil temperature to 80°C.

After the full throttle run the Benzol tank
should be drained and the total amount of fuel consumed recorded.
The tank should then be refilled with the 50/50 Swan/20/80
mixture and kept as a reserve.

During the run it is important not to exceed the
H.P. and R.P.M. given on the chart as this will increase the
consumption.

The test sheets should be made out in duplicate
in order to supply a copy to the A.I.D.
