To Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux} (Chateauroux) from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. 600 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.4/AP.29.7.37 Referring to your Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux}4/JAB.27.7.37, we note that you give a water loss of ¾ gallon per day. Will you please let us know whether this occurs under normal high speed running or only when carrying out continuous braking tests. We ask for this information since we understand from A.B.Roberts that he lost no water in travelling from Derby to Chateauroux. If it does not occur under normal high speed running conditions, we should like to know at what level the water remains constant. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. | ||
