CONFERENCE WITH MR. MCCORMACK.

5th April 1918.

1. Prevent triangular correspondence with Sir Alfred Herbert. (see his letter of 3. 4. 18)

2. It may prove desirable for R.R. to make certain parts, such as cam shafts.

3. Wolseleyes to agree not to incorporate certain R.R. points in design (already submitted by R.R.) in any engine Wolseleys make, for a term of years.

4. R.R. shall approve the materials and processes used by Wolseleys in manufacture, if R.R. consider such will effect the success of the engine.

5. R.R's representative to be permitted to visit the Wolseley Factory of sub-contractors from time to time to see R.R. engines in course of being made or tested.

6. A name-plate to be affixed to each engine stating that it is of R.R. design manufactured by Wolseleys. The plate and position to be agreed by R.R.

7. Wolseleys will supply R.R. engines only to the British Government.
