You should ask Mr. McCormack to agree that, until the first engine has satisfactorily passed such destructive test no engines shall be issued and the alterations or replacements which it may be found necessary to make in the first engine in order to enable it to pass the destructive tests shall be made to all subsequent engines before they are issued.

Subject to the above, it is not considered necessary to provide anything in the contract to control the process of manufacture used by Wolseley's.

5. It is mutually agreed that representatives of the two companies should visit one other's Works and confer and exchange information as often as may be desirable for the attaining of the end in viewp namely, the manufacture by Wolseley's of R.R. areo engines which shall be at least as good as those manufactured by R.R. themselves.

6. Mr. McCormack agrees to fix the nameplate, the design of which has already been submitted to him.

7. Mr. McCormach agrees.
