I have tested this spirit for Benzene and its lighter derivatives, and find that there is approximately 18% taken as Benzene. The above may account for the special properties possessed by this spirit. It appears that the Benzolene is more intimately combined with the parafins present than when the Benzole is added in the ordinary way. [Signature: HCD] less easily separated | ||
