SPECIAL TOOL FOR REMOVING VALVE SPRINGS. ------------------------------------------- In reply to EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn1/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 15. 1. 24, we do not consider that the special tool provided for Colonel Ruston, which simply holds the valve up against its seat, is satisfactory for inclusion in the Tool Kit, and the Experimental Dept. are trying to combine this tool with some device for removing the valve springs at the same time as the valve is held up against its seat.
