20HP. DEMONSTRATION CAR.
BURNT VALVES.

Referring to EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}1/H281223, an examination of the valve does not give me any idea of the cause of the trouble. It appears to be very similar, however, to what happened on the 10,000 miles trial where a valve burnt in a similar manner.

You will be interested to learn that I have taken up with CJ. the question of buying 20HP valves complete from America in No.1. Silchrome steel, with the object of expediting the adoption of the improved material on the 20HP chassis.
