- 7 - (a) The front connection plug fouls the oil filler when removing. (b) Control rod from extra oil rubs slightly against body of case. These would be eliminated by setting the filter higher and closer to the crankcase. King Seeley Oil Level Indicator. L-332 Genl. Arrgt. A-14518 Crankcase Sump Fitting. A-14516 Crankcase Cover. It differs from the gas gauge in that there is an equalizing pipe to equalize the pressure on the ordinarily "free" end of the U-tube with the pressure in the crankcase in the neighborhood of the dome. The double pipe line is carried through the dash at the same hole as the thermometer pipe - using a special fitting on the dash. Fitted experimentally on NX-5. Speedometer Drive. A-9648 Sectl.
