about 2½" on the Oldsmobile, and we were always under
the impression that it was impossible to use as much offset
as this without encountering kicks of the steering.
It seems to us that this much offset is very desirable
in so far as it would obviously contribute to the lightness
of the steering at low speeds.

Have you any views on the relative merits of
the Packard independent suspension geometry as opposed to
that employed by G.M.? They would seem to us to have very
similar effects.

Yours sincerely,
THE ROVER COMPANY LIMITED.
