Dear Commdr. Matravers,

Many thanks for the details of Mr. Sartoris' suspension.

At the moment I do not think it will be any good for Mr. Sartoris to bring his scheme along, because we are not in a position to do anything with it, even if he could substantiate his claims, at any rate, not until we have completed a series of experiments on various types of engine suspension which we have at present in hand.

If Mr. Sartoris realises this, and would still like to show us the pieces we should be very pleased to see him any time after August Bank Holiday.
