the reactions due to braking and cornering.

Owing to their now being set with their centre lines each at 45 degrees to the centre line of the wheel, they reinforce each other to a certain extent and can be made lighter.

The whole arrangement is more simple from the manufacturing point of view and should be as light (and, therefore, as cheap) as any system yet devised.

It retains all the good points of the original design - vertical wheel motion and invariable steering geometry!

Mr. Sartoris is extremely anxious that he should have an opportunity of paying you a visit, bringing along with him the car for you to try; and if it is not bothering you too much I should like to hear from you as to whether it is of any interest or not to you.
