To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} X1110 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Smth.2/KW.25.2.36. 22-G-V.{VIENNA} C-16 Unit. Specification for Clutch. (1) 11A3 Borg & Beck clutch No.26. This is to standard production specification BB.252, with green thrust springs, yellow damper springs, S.82 eyebolts, new type balancing and moulded facings. (2) Trunnion thrust bearing with oillite cage, lubrication cut off from this bearing, but supplied to other points on the trunnion. (3) Oillite cage in pilot bearing. This is R.{Sir Henry Royce} & M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} type LJ25-Z. This requires Ex.20185 first motion shaft, which is identical with proposed standard except that it takes a larger bore pilot bearing. (4) Clutch housing, actuation gear and pedal arrangement otherwise to standard LOP's G.57097, G.54794, F.61066 and arrangement G.57170. (5) Propellor shaft damper omitted, LOP. G.57096.
