X4516 Expl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}6/MJ. 25th. July 1932. The Harrison Radiator Corp., Lockport, New York, U.S.A. For the attention of Mr. Saunders. Dear Sir, Many thanks for your letter of July 11th. This answers our question completely. We have carried out tests on the matrix you supplied to John Marsden's Ltd., and find its performance is everything that you claim and is some 20% better than the matrix Marsdens are at present making. We have quite convinced them that they are out of date and hope they will be able to supply us with a new type block very shortly. We would be very much indebted to you if you will keep us advised of any further developments you may from time to time produce. Yours faithfully, For Rolls-Royce Ltd. | ||
