WRAITH CRANKSHAFTS.

It is noted from Ry.5/G.29.12.37 that it is not possible to standardise the use of Carbon Steel in the early Wraith Chassis, as suggested in our memo' Roy.{Sir Henry Royce}23/B.23.12.37, and we are accordingly proceeding with the purchase of the first 100 Crankshafts in V.C.M. (Nitrided) Steel as hitherto.

Such Dies will be running shortly and we shall then stamp the two Crankshafts requisitioned by the Experimental Shop in Carbon Steel without Nickel.

ROY.{Sir Henry Royce}
