261. URGENT. Per Bag. S/W. c. to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Chassis No.B-142-LS- G.A.Daniell. Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}1/KW5.5.38. Mr.Daniell called this morning and asked me to advise you that he will be bringing his car to the Works tonight and as far as he knows at present anticipates that his arrival will be about 8 o'clock. He asks that you will be good enough to see that someone from your Dept. is there to receive it so that you can start work on it tomorrow morning first thing, although Mr.Daniell will call and see you later in the morning. The two points requiring attention are :- *(1) The centralised lubrication (Luvax Bijur Pump) (2) Brakes which are squeaking although car has only done 5000 miles. Mr.Daniell has in mind the fact that you will be able to deal with these two matters during the day, so that he will be able, if he wishes, to leave Derby that evening or the next morning.
