- 3 - EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}6/H2O. 4.23. 8. confirms, so far as using the car during the bad (Contd). weather is concerned, when ruts are formed on the snowed up roads. At the same time Wright reports although the narrow track is a dis-advantage and makes driving difficult and rather hard on the wheel bearings, it does not make the car impossible for America. 9. GROUND CLEARANCE. The trouble with the tool box, and already reported on and referred to in Sales Dept. Memo Spl/H/10.4.23, Mr. Olley suggests that the running board should be higher, as one way out of the difficulty. 10. DYNAMO. Mr. Olley considers that the dynamo cuts in rather late, i.e. about 10 - 12 m.p.h. Springfield have made the following requests through Wright:- (a) Instruction book for 49-G-3 to be sent, also one for the use of the Service Station. (b) Can blue print be supplied for use of body builders in America. (c) Can Service station be supplied with blue print relating to the fitting of magnetos to the 20-HP cars. EP{G.
