X.2565 - RE THE TWO RIVIERA CARS - X.4426.
X.3461.

All formalities in connection with these two cars going to France, also arrangements which are necessary to make with those gentlemen of the Press or otherwise who will accompany the cars, entail their being ready for shipment on the 18th. inst.

Therefore, will you please take special steps to see that any parts such as rear shock absorbers and special priming starter device are fitted in plenty of time to test the cars before being shipped.

When at the Works last week, I arranged with Mr. Maddocks that the new Hartford type shock absorbers be fitted to the Rocksavage car and also that this type of shock absorber shall be fitted to 81-TW - Open Trials car - as soon as possible.
