SHOCK DAMPER BEARINGS.

Re your note of the 3rd inst. 38-EX. had only done 2050 miles last Monday. I presume that you therefore mean 34-EX., which has probably not had its dampers changed for two years and is quite liable not to have been fitted with 100% bearings.

We are now trying to develop a damper which will be quiet even with slack bearings.
