Re E {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} /Ev. {Ivan Evernden - coachwork} 4/MN.22.1.37. Up to the present, we are unable to discover how the Munro tube has been assembled. We had imagined that the ball pad was pressed into the tube as a last operation after the end had been spun over. However, we cannot reproduce the result. It is most unfortunate that E {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} /Psn. when at the Munro Factory in America did not discover their method of assembly. Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Les. | ||
