Dear Sir,

GLK. 66.

I have recently taken delivery of the above chassis with saloon Landaulette Body, which is my third 20. h.p. Rolls; I therefore want to bring to your notice (as a motorist of some 23 years) viz: before the Rolls was heard of. A serious defect viz: The Pump Spindle is lubricated by a greaser which is not satisfactory; this throws the grease out and continuously smears the inside of the Bonnet. Moreover in course of time this efflux of grease gets onto the flexible coupling between spindle and pump, and causes it to rot.

I had the same experience with my last Chassis GAK-70 and the coupling was received by your Cricklewood people. This same thing has now taken place in my new one (GLK.66). and I venture to think could be remedied.

Please do not think that I bring this to your notice in a hostile spirit; but simply in the interest of yourselves and your 20 h.p. Car.

I am,

Yours faithfully,

(Sgd) Sutcliffe Pyman.
