x4553a To G.W. Hancock, Esq., Hotel de France, Chateauroux, Indre, France. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}23/KW.16.7.34. We understand that petrol with lead in it is now obtainable in France. We should like you to obtain some of this fuel and run the 10,000 miles test on it. We are preparing some stellited exhaust valves in case you run into any trouble. The cross member at the rear of the engine seems to have twisted on Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}'s car, we cannot understand how this has happened. If you watch yours closely perhaps you will be able to see how it behaves on bad roads. We should like to know how your brakes are wearing. 21-G-IV is ready and will go out when Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} decides he can get away.
