STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS.

Short Connecting Rod for 40/50 Chassis.

The elimination of piston knocks.

We recommend that the short connecting rods for the chassis should be standardised. We are satisfied now that these rods do not make any difference as regards the feel of the engine. 49-GE fitted with these rods is running very very nicely and remarkably smoothly. Capt.Hellam and Mr.Heldenby have had this car out and agree that the engine is very nice. We do not claim that we have removed all traces of piston knocks but we have every confidence that we can satisfy all but the fastidious customers. This is the Signature of Exp.
