endurance test To Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst. 6065. BY/RD.1/B.17.2.37. P Stenda. SPEEDOMETERS. In order to obviate trouble with trip mechanism the A.T.Speedometer Co., have suggested that the end counter on the trip mechanism which does most of the running, should be made in Brass instead of the Die Casting Alloy. They have tested this equivalent to some thousands of miles and found it very satisfactory. Could you please arrange for the cars in the Expl. Dept., to have their speedometers returned, so that this modification can be embodied to enable us to get some testing done of this feature. CAP Presumably you are doing this? Yes C.A. BY/RD. | ||
