West, Experimental Dept. Dear Sirs, Sample Speedometer for your 25/30 h.p. Chassis. We are proceeding to make up the sample Speedometer mentioned in your letter of February 3rd, and as soon as the dial is finished later this week we shall be able to proceed with this assembly. As we are almost certain that the screwed shank on the back of the Speedometer head of our instrument differs from the sizes on the shank of the Speedometer head you use at present, it would presumably be necessary for us to supply you with a cable and casing unit. To enable us to prepare this detail will you please let us have some information as to the fixing of the cable at its lower end, together with some indication as to the length of the cable/casing unit itself. If, of course, the bottom end of the cable/casing unit is to be identical with the bottom end of the cable/casing unit which we previously supplied to you for the Bentley rev. counter, you need not repeat this information to us, except, of course, as to the length of the unit.
