CARBURETTERS FOR AUTOMOBILES.

We, WILLIAM ARTHUR ROBOTHAM of Park Leys, Duffield, near Derby, England and CHARLES WOOD SALT of Rosemary, Chestnut Avenue, Mickleover, Derby, England, both British Subjects do hereby declare the nature of this invention and in what manner the same is to be performed, to be particularly described and ascertained in and by the following statement :

This invention is for improvements in Carburetters for automobiles.

It is particularly designed for use with expanding carburetters in which the choke is automatically variable.

According to this invention there are provided more than one induction pipe serving the same cylinder, each induction pipe being controlled by its own throttle valve and the induction pipes being brought into operation successively by the opening of the throttle valves.
