X.364Y X.3569 X.135Y This car is not required now until the 12th.Jan. by Mr. Johnson in France. We shall now make an endeavour to get the full list of pieces on this car. The chief item being the new wiring and switch board. As regards the earthed wiring system, we have been making enquiries for lamps. Lucas's say they have no lamps for the single wiring system and the only thing they recommend is to use their standard lamp and earth one connection a little way from the holder. With this scheme, of course, we lose a lot of the advantage we hope to gain by obtaining better lamp holders. Lucas's also point out that if we adopt single terminal lamp holders, there will be difficulty in our customers obtaining lamp bulbs. C.A.V. people make single wire holders; we are obtaining samples from them. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
