-2- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/KW.19.6.34. We are entirely in agreement that no publicity of any sort shall be undertaken in connection with this engine without mutual arrangements between ourselves. We should like to thank you for the offer of assistance which you have so kindly made us, and hope you will appreciate that, though we wish to pay for the unit and so avoid being under any obligation to you, we anticipate that the results obtained are bound to be to our common advantage. If you are in agreement to supply us with an engine, having regard to our remarks in this letter, we should be glad if you would submit a quotation. Should this be acceptable, we will at once arrange a meeting to discuss the technical points involved. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
