X 30146 RE DYNAMO TYPE E.575. No.R. 1714A

Referring to your memo Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}8/NJ. 12. 4. 21. and report from the Lucas Elec. Co.Ltd. on the above dynamo, we have noted the comments and agree that the new type flexible covering is a great improvement on the stockinet, and we agree that the Lucas Company should fit this type of flexible covering to the present type brushes.

As the Lucas Company state they are experimenting with a new type brush, but up to now this gives more noise than the present one, we consider as we have had very few complaints regarding the present brush that until they get over the noise caused by the new brush, they should continue to fit the present type.

EFC. informs us that he does not think we should receive any benefit by him going down to the Lucas Company to see this dynamo dismantled, and therefore will you kindly instruct the Lucas Company to re assemble the dynamo and return to us.
