220 WEST 71st STREET
NEW YORK, N. Y.

4/3/26.

Dear Sir:

Mr. M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} Olley, the chief engineer of your Springfield factory, has requested me to mail you the enclosed circular which will give you general datas regarding a very remarkable patent pertaining to the automotive industry. This circular is also being mailed to Mr. F.{Mr Friese} H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Royce, with the same mail, and together with a letter from me, explaining the arrangements I have made with your Springfield factory.

I demonstrated the "Andrade differential" to Mr. Olley and his associates which resulted in having one built to fit your American car, for the purpose of conducting a practical and exhaustive test.

The use of the "Andrade differential" eliminates all gears with the exception of the master gear, and produces one feature that no other existing differential has ever accomplished, namely that "POWER WILL ALWAYS BE ON THE REARWHEEL THAT HAS TRACTION".

I invite your valued comment on this new patent, and am looking forward to your esteemed answer.

Respectfully yours,
[Signature]

Two enclosures.

To
E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} W. Hives, Esq.,
Chief Experimental Engineer,
c/o Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
Derby, England.
