RE AMERICAN ALTERATIONS. X.4605.

Concerning your memo. EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}1/H91023., we
had not overlooked alteration No.2716 - Simplified method
of locking screwed bush in gearbox - but had been unable
to get this through before Mr. Royce went away.

We have now obtained Mr. Royce's consent
to this alteration, and steps should be taken accordingly
at Derby.

Regarding the list of proposed alterations
by America we will push these forward as soon as we can,
but at the moment we are very busy indeed on other most
important work.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
