Re Ethyl petrol.

Replying to C15/C.2.7.36.

The Bentley was made suitable for Ethyl petrol prior to the introduction of the 4¼ litre. Austenitic exhaust valves, which are a protection against Ethyl, were fitted to the 3½ litre from the beginning: these cars can therefore be run on Ethyl.
