To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} X7520 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RnLO/LG16.3.27. SHOCK ABSORBERS. Y235 We are endeavouring to get a test on shock absorbers fitted with the gravity feed scheme of oil to the bearings. At the moment we only have 2 shock absorbers thus equipped both of which are on RAC.Vll. We should be obliged if you would take the front shock absorber so fitted off RAC.Vll and put it on the bump and convert the bump shock absorber to gravity feed, at the same time we should like to fit up the damper on the joggle rig to the same xxx scheme and prepare two or three sets of parts for future conversion.
