To D/L. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X4499 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG12.11.26. X457 Accident on Fosse Rd., Oct. 22nd.1926. I was carrying out experimental tests in connection with high speed wobbles on the Fosse Rd. at Six Hills, and when travelling at 70 m.p.h. the pendulum steering lever broke which caused the car to leave the road and finish in the ditch. Slight damage was done to the car and hedge. We consider 10/- is a reasonable claim to damage to hedge. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
