Dear Sir,

We have your letter of the 24th inst. and note that you wish to have some sample mounting blocks with a free length of 1.150" with a deflection of 0.150" at 400 lbs load. We are assuming that these blocks are to have the half-inch hole in centre and in determining the mix to be used for the purpose, we shall work on that assumption unless we hear from you to the contrary. We shall be able to let you have some samples by the end of the week, or the beginning of next week at the latest.

The preparation of the longer blocks which we are making for you is now well in hand and I hope to be able to post both types to you on Thursday the 27th.

Yours faithfully,
FOR THE DUNLOP RUBBER CO. LTD.,
