With reference to the last paragraph of R1/M28.8.31 referring to the ignition coil on the 25 HP. car at Brooklands, this coil was not one with the primary on the outside as imagined but the 21,000 turn improved performance coil which was reported on in our Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/HEW2/A11.3.8.31.

With regard to the outside primary coil, the design of the experimental one which we have been trying for some time is being altered by the D.O. and immediately we have a satisfactory sample we will send one down to W.W. for inspection.
