With reference to our conversation on this matter the other day, it is absolutely essential before our current cars get into customers' hands, that something of the above should be done. Will you please therefore arrange for instructions to be issued for these plates and fittings to be supplied for all chassis produced, including those on test and those delivered. It will be necessary, therefore, for the works to be instructed to supply me with the same number of these plates as there have been chassis produced, so that I can see that these plates are fitted to chassis on test and sent out and fitted to chassis already delivered.
