| 262. 22nd June 40. Dear Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}, I have tried to see you on several occasions since you wrote to me on 21st July 39. After I went to France I asked Dyer to write to the firm & make some attempt to give them the explanation I gave it to him, but apparently its no use asking anyone to do anything in this world, my motto is more than ever "do it yourself". Your letter says "Hol tells me that when you were up here last week you asked him for all the experimental parts". In actual fact this was not the case. I did not ask for all the parts, the only things I asked for were the tanks, which I thought would be useful for the boot, & the instruments, which I took | ||
