Dash Isolation.
Fitting Sepack, (made up to our pattern) to back of dash.
Making up and fitting dash carpet with necessary fasteners and fitting leather cover over steering column bracket.
Lining scuttle with thick felt and making up and fitting leather cover over change speed lever.
Making up front carpets, felt mat, and binding same as necessary.
Sundry Items.
Fitting felt covered wood strip to make clearance between front body rail and standard floor boards.
Building up flooring 2 1/2" under rear seat to clear larger battery.
Removing rear squab, trimming in rear of body to locate fault in wiring and refixing trimming and squab.
Refixing front squab and trimming from rear of the centre division to give access to the electrically operated partition glass and mechanism.
Cutting away plywood panel in rear of division and fitting stop blocks to check glass in its lowest position to prevent over running.
Fitting felt pad to division waist rail adjusted to prevent glass rattling.
Refixing plywood panelling, trimming and front squab.
Mudguards & Running Boards.
Making necessary alterations and fitting up mudguards.
Shaping and fitting stays, brackets, stoneguards and other details and finishing off and lining up mudguards.
Making up packing blocks, fixing stud plates etc., and fitting up running boards and lining up to suit wings.
Fitting angle iron reinforcing strips under running boards, fitting aluminium covers to running boards and stainless steel channels and rubber strips and finishing off complete. PAINTED GREY.
