Re- Paulin Streamlined Bentley
---------------------

Referring to your CII/C.29.7.38 we regret to say that the driver/valet whilst driving this car in Paris had an accident with a taxi cab which run into him, severely damaging the rear part of the body.

As the makers of the body Pourtout cannot complete the work before they close down for the Summer vacation, we are afraid it will not be possible to get the car over to England before the beginning of September.

However, we will let you know how the work is proceeding and advise you of the definite date when the car can go over as soon as we can obtain this information.

RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} For your guidance the rear left-hand wheel was severely damaged and it will also probably be necessary to change one of the chassis trumpets.
