1380 To By/Ald.{F. Allwood - Experimental Design} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}4/JH.4.8.38. In connection with the Paulin Streamlined Bentley we wish to try a forward facing air intake to see, by use of a fan on the test, what advantage would be obtained by this type of intake at 100 m.p.h. We have obtained particulars from Ip. regarding dimensions for such an intake and would like this schemed and detailed to be made as a built up job of sheet material.
