Referring to By16/H25.11.26 drawing attention to the fact that the Dunlop Co. have recently sent us some inner tubes in which the joint is in a different place relative to the valve than hitherto, being diametrically opposite the valve; whereas the practice hitherto has been to make the joint adjacent to the valve - we are now in receipt of a letter from the Dunlop Rubber Co. dated 27th inst. stating that after carefully considering the situation, they are quite in agreement with our views as expressed in By16/H25.11.26 and their answers to our queries are:- -a- They are not committed in any way; as a matter of fact the tubes with joint directly opposite the valve were prepared specially for us. -b- They will take no further action, but continue supplying their normal production.
