X3809 Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} Hr. C. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY7/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 30.11.26. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} RECEIVED 1 DEC 1926 WIRE WHEELS WITH WELL BASE RIMS - PHANTOM. --------------------------------------- We note that as a result of our taking up the question of the proposed alteration in the position of the joint on the inner tube for tyres suitable for well base rims, that the Dunlop Company have definitely decided not to go any further with the matter. This being the case, the inner tubes jointed diametrically opposite the valve, which were in the possession of the Test Dept. last week, to fit to certain customers' chassis for despatch, should be returned to the Stores, stating that the Order Office will give instructions for same to be returned to the Dunlop Company, and replaced by inner tubes having the joint on the same side of the centre line of the wheel as the valve, and comparatively close to the latter.
