TORSION TESTS ON MYTH FRAME

NO. 1 TEST (DEC '41) AS RF 2259. RATE BETWEEN FRONT AND REAR WHEELS WAS 384 LB-FT/DEGREE

NO. 2 TEST (14.12.43) WITH FRONT MEMBER BOXED IN TO PL 1127. RATE BETWEEN FRONT AND REAR WHEELS WAS 538 LB-FT/DEGREE

NOTES a) FRONT PAN (WHICH IS TO BE RUBBER MOUNTED) WAS NOT FITTED FOR THESE TESTS.
b) TORQUE ACTUALLY APPLIED WAS 268 LB-FT FOR TEST Nº 1 AND 406 LB-FT FOR TEST Nº 2.
