Frost - Coachwork Inspector} Your Ref. Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Limited, D E R B Y. 5th August, 1936. For the attention of S.H. Grylls, Esq. Dear Sirs, STEERING GEAR COMPONENTS. With reference to our recent conversation with regard to the above, and subsequent telephone conversations, while we believe that the components which we have estimated are not now of direct interest, we are enclosing quotation covering these, as this had been prepared prior to our last conversation. In the case of F.61239, the supply of the complete component to the details as shown on your drawing is covered, with the addition that in one or two of the tolerances, we should work to finer figures in order to assist in the subsequent grinding operations, but the parts will, of course, be within the figures shown on your drawing, while with respect to the track radius, this will be made .1275" plus or minus .0005". With regard to the inners F.{Mr Friese} 61240, here again the details shown on your drawing will be followed, with the exception that the bore will be plain, and not serrated as shown on your drawing, and the track radius will be .1275" plus or minus .0005", and with respect to the distance pieces F.{Mr Friese} 87684, the details as shown on your drawing will be followed.
