- 5 - BENTLEY III 3. Design of Bonnet Louvres - Deferred to the next meeting. 4. Programme It was agreed that we must make a decision before the end of July in respect of the second half of "M" chassis being manufactured or not. The decision must of course be governed to some extent by progress in development of B.III. It was recommended that every effort should be made to include B.III in the 1939 Motor Exhibition even if chassis were not actually on production at that time. The B.III programme as set out in BW3/G5.4.38 has so far been adhered to and in one respect improved upon, i.e. the first car to France will go next month instead of in October. Bentley 50 1. The first of these cars should be running by the end of the week. They are only waiting for wings from Park Ward. The chassis is 3 cwt lighter than that of Wraith but the body appears to be heavy. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} proposes to make enquiry into this matter. 2. Costs This matter is under discussion at the present time. 3. Name No further recommendations were advanced at the meeting. 4. Sample Body by Park Ward It was not considered necessary to discuss the details of the criticisms of this body at the full meeting. | ||
